Though the proportions of the birds in the small inserts don’t match the one in the center, it’s still
hard to fathom that these smallish raptors, not without reason referred to as Sparrow-Hawks, can
unfold such broad and powerful wings. Not to mention the almost tiny beaks with their not so tiny
gripper strength. Since Am. Kestrels weigh no more than a third of a pound at the max, to bring
a Rabbit, with at least equal if not superior weight, up high to a nest, now that’s carrying prowess.
