Swan Song story of a pair of Swans, with the female suffering from a broken wing. |
||
There is a man made enlargement of the Tibbetts Brook at the so-named park in Westchester, where one gets to observe a surprising variety of birds and waterfowl. When I first saw this pair of Swans in the park I noticed that one of them, presumably the female, had an impaired left wing. Other than not being able to fly she seemed to manage daily survival. Especially with a very protective, ever caring mate by her side. |
